Unit 13: The Sustaining God (5 weeks/lessons of curriculum available. Use 1,2,3,4 or all 5.)

God’s people, like everyone else, have to suffer through many bad or sad things in this world. But while others may turn away from God as they suffer, God’s people don’t. God gives them His sustaining grace–strength to keep on believing in Him, trusting in His perfect plan, and living for Him, no matter what. In this unit we will learn how God sustains His people’s faith throughout their lives on earth.

Unit 14: The God Who Delights in Our Prayers (5 weeks/lessons of curriculum available. Use 1,2,3,4 or all 5.)

God loves to hear our prayers, especially when we pray with a humble heart that wants to know and honor Him. God loves for us to adore Him, to confess our sins to Him, to thank Him and to ask Him to help us. God never gets tired of hearing our prayers! He wants us to pray to Him every night and day…and anytime in between! In this unit, we will be learning about prayers God loves to hear us pray.

Unit 15: God’s People Gather Together (5 weeks/lessons of curriculum available. Use 1,2,3,4 or all 5.)

God’s people don’t just GO to church. They ARE the church! “Church” is the Bible word for God’s people gathering together to worship God and to love one another. Usually they gather together on Sundays. That’s the day Jesus rose from the dead, showing that He had defeated sin and death. God’s people love to celebrate this! In this unit, we will learn about what God’s people do when they gather together.

Unit 16: Jesus, the Returning King (5 weeks/lessons of curriculum available. Use 1,2,3,4 or all 5.)

Jesus is coming back one day. What a day it will be! This old world and its ways will come to an end. God will destroy it and sin and death with it. He will create a new, perfect world for His people to live in with Him forever. What a wonderful day that will be for God’s people! What a wonderful day that will be for us, too, if we turn away from our sins and trust in Jesus as our Savior! In this unit we will learn about what will happen when Jesus comes back.
